Smile Any user thoughts/review about TRD products installed so far?

I am nearly pulling the trigger on getting TRD Air intake and exhaust. I am just wondering for those who already have them installed on the cars, how do you think about the products?

do you see noticeable difference in terms of performance?

I have the exhaust and cai. I love them! Supposedly 10hp gains from stock.

I agree with everything said here... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7MJgw7AyAU"]TRD Exhaust and Intake Review - Scion FR-S - YouTube[/ame]

I have a TRD drop in filter. Unless you are going to tune your car, that's all I would do and maybe an intake inlet tube. As far as the exhaust, I also think there are better options, for less money. However, if you want TRD for the warranty/OEM+ aspect, then you will be happy with these products. It's not that the catback isn't good, I just think, and others would agree, there are better options. Happy modding!

TRD CAI

The first thing I did was buy a TRD cold air intake. This is the larger black box, not the drop in filter. My dealer price matched an internet price I saw. It is a true CAI, as is the stock air filter. No need to remove the bumper. Easy instal.
I have no dyno results, but I felt the car was more useable, easier to drive, more responsive. Whether there were any increases in HP, I (dont know) but felt there were. Probably filled in some of the low valleys in the power curve.

The under the hood view looks awesome. Pysically the airbox is much larger, so its possible that response is better as more air can now get there, quicker. Its a nice, very high quality adition to the FR-S.

This is my feeling before I put on a cat back.
After the cat back I felt NO significant power increase. It just sounds better. I have a nameless cat (axel) back.
Also a very nice addition to the car. Very high quality, looks like it belongs on a Ferarri.

Go with the TRD intake. Looks nice, easy to install (less than an hour), removes extra crap in the engine bay and noticeable gains....not huge but noticeable. Only con is kinda pricey but its OEM so thats a plus.

I had the TRD CAI and exhaust installed at the same time. For warranty reasons I chose going this route. I love both of them. Better throttle response, more low end torque and great sound. It was worth the money.

Mostly low end. It's more responsive low to mid not noticeable high end.

Even though the TRD is overprice IMO i still love mine. It evened out the idling along with better throttle response and power through out the low to mid power band. It's nothing spectacular but I feel like it was well worth it.

I've used both(three if you include TRD OEM Panel Filter for stock airbox)

TRD USA Intake box gives bit more hp and torque than stock air box setup.
I've changed from the TRD BOX to stock air box with AVO Panel filter(hence the comparison) to accommodate my HKS oil cooler. Otherwise I would be using my TRD USA airbox.

Stock air box is very good, if money is tight I wouldn't bother with the TRD USA airbox.

I have the TRD exhaust and I love it. I installed an APEXi air filter ($50) and I love it. You can feel a little more power. The APXi air filter has been known to add 5hp, while the TRD CAI intake system only adds 2.5hp according to this [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rr4VBkHYVUc"]2013 Scion FR-S Intake: TRD Dyno Test - YouTube[/ame]

I have the TRD air intake and it was worth every penny to me. I plan on getting the TRD exhaust in the spring.
