Yep, work is getting in the way of playing as is usually the case. Definitely no chance of 2nd thoughts, I'm loving my car more and more every day.

My poor girl got a couple of hail dings driving back from Pretoria last FRIDAY afternoon. Luckily I missed the saturday party!

Haven't driven her since 'cos the dirt road to the farm is a bit rough for her at the moment. So its boring 4x4s for the next while

On the bonnet .... 1 big one and a smaller one, can't see any others anywhere else yet.
Hoping that they can be "popped out" by a reputable (lol) panelbeater.

Eish, that's not good because the bonnet is aluminum so I would find a panel beater that specializes in aluminum repairs. The rest would probably screw it up.

Hallo aan al die 86 & BRZ petrol koppies! My "Hello" to all from Windhoek in Namibia!

Wifey got her STD White 86 Saturday morning, from the showroom floor straight to Tyre Rack for some shoes. ABT BR Reps 18 x 8 +35 in 225/40 rubber - really does look fantastic on the car and fits snug as a glove, no rubbing.

Monday we have a meeting with a friend who's going to be doing a little vinyl wrapping.
As my wife originally really wanted a red 86, but the waiting list was just too long. So I've convinced her to do some bits in carbon and the rest in a color of her choice.

Hopefully she'll get the desired look.

As a side note - I am not willing to spend 6K on a spoiler, but have seen these 2K plastic spoilers - any ideas on who stocks them in SA?

Regards and thank you that I can be part of the forum.
Mauricio

Thanks Vladror,

The picture however doesn't do it justice! Really looks great! We'll hopefully soon do a little shoot with some proper shots, how flush etc.

Cheers,

I got mine (TRD clone) from JonMotoring in the USA.
Incl shipping and duty but excl painting it cost about R1450
http://www.jonmotoring.com/brz-frs-t...trunk-spoiler/

PS: Here's what it looks like...
Fit and finish is great.
I like it black, so I decided to not paint mine.

Welcome, Fellow Namibian.
Neat looking 86 you have there. Not sure I would vinyl anything about the care (i love the Satin pearl white too much, and get boatloads of compliments on it), but tastes vary!

@ BentAnat - I see the 86 community growing ever so slightly here in Whk!

There are actually 2 reasons for the vinyl:

1. Custom look
2. A bit of protection - same as the laminex car film ( I think )

You'll see my wife around
