It's been a long time since a Japanese company has modded a car just for the hell/PR of it. Really reminds me of what was happening back in the 80s. Love it.

I guess the TRD prices can be justified by the sheer amount of manpower and testing with tools and facilities. Cost of R&D and testing must be spendy!

maybe to see how it moves across the surface of the car to determine real world aerodynamics not replicated in a wind tunnel? tthat's my guess.

Perhaps officially those are the wheels, but the wheels at 4:15 are not made by Rays.
