He admired the plate relocator so much he scratched it? So at the very least he's not a potential low life thief but just an over exuberant import car enthusiast vandal?

hey also, parking garages have video cameras also. You should see if they can pull footage of him parked and pull the tags that way

I hope he's looking at this thread right now.
If you can get the video into the hands of a capable video-editor you may be able to get at least a partial tag. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean the camera didn't record it. |

What strikes me is the casualness with which he just parks, gets out and goes near your car to purloin. Sad.

I'd kick 'im in the balls yo!
You can bet his ass wouldn't be walking right for a while after I was done with him. I don't have a lot of spending money but I worked for it so every little upgrade means a lot to me. People who steal are worthless little shits. -__- |

I'm not trying to justify his actions but let's not get a mob mentality here. It doesn't look like he was scoping cars to rip parts off of. I don't know him, the OP, nor have I seen the entire video (either the video of him checking his own car wasn't posed or isn't loading on my computer), but it looks like he drove to that area of the parking garage having already known the car was there.
Maybe he had his frame stolen and he or a friend saw an FRS driving off with it. Maybe a friend saw an FRS fitting the description of his thief in this garage and gave him a call. Being the idiot he is with a similar mob mentality developing in this thread, he went directly to the accused car (belonging to the OP and obviously not the one he may have wanted), without proof and began vandalizing it. After realizing either it wasn't his, or that he was being a complete idiot trying to jack somebody's part he wasn't even sure was the thief's, he just left. He didn't drive around making sure the coast was clear, he didn't look around for witnesses, and he didn't jump out grab the part and run. In reality it was quite a relaxed theft attempt. None of these things are standard operating procedure of a car thief. Whether he is a thief or not, he needs to be held accountable for his actions, I just don't want to see everyone get worked up over an accusation that is simply that, an accusation. |

Maybe he is a robot from the future. Maybe we should all pool together and buy him a new license plate relocation because he obviously wants one really bad.
