Those aren't the bushings that go in the upper control arm, they are a new(er) bushing that goes in the lower control arm.

Sorry, misunderstanding. They invested when things were looking good, years ago.

Like I said they invested in Skype as well, $300M and cashed out to Microsoft at $930M. $630M profit. Blackberry looked like a good investment when they put in money. We've just been watching them drop value like crazy over the years. In all honesty, I'm not sure BB is still in the portfolio.

Yeah, but if you're gonna disconnect the arm to press the bushings, you might as well replace it with a better unit yaknowwatimsayin?

I'm just use to modifying cars and only having one part to do so.

You want camber? Then you can only buy this one LCA.

You wanna get an exhaust? You have these two options or go custom.

The twins can be overwhelming sometimes.

I have a feeling I'm going to be up all night VPN'd in and RDP'd to a server, monitoring a data migration. Only 136GB but it's a boatload of files being copied to an external hard drive.. Going on 4.5 hours now, 30 gigs to go.. Then I have to go back and see what it missed..

Did I mention they're being pulled off of a SCSI raid setup and moved to an external USB drive? Kinda sorta.. At least it gets backed up, hah. Can't wait to get the DFS up and running.

Borrowing against the future is how a country devalues their dollar.
Oh oops, I thought they used pensioner money to try to save Blackberry. That would be pretty messed up.

Yea devaluing is what's going on, but hasn't that been the case for...60 years? 70? :/ Gotta invest those savings.

Lol how about ours - banks make bad decisions? Here's your money back. GM+Chrysler make bad decisions? Here's your money back. Oh... then a few yrs later Chrysler is now 100% Fiat.

Not to mention this bull shut Quantitative Easing that is going on.

Ok sorry I kinda went tangent there lol /rant

I'm still not sure what to think of TARP, I haven't read much on how exactly they doled money out but any situation where government doles out money tends to be problematic. If they didn't bother trying to save people who bought shitty securities and try to pump up real estate (they're trying to do the same thing again...like that worked last time. Hopefully it takes less than 14 years to explode this time so people put 2 and 2 together) I wonder what kind of impact that would've had. I feel like the debt market would be okay, commercial banking should be okay, equities probably would take a shit though, but then quantitative easing would pump that up a bit wouldn't it?

Sure some sales people said misleading things about some of the CDO products, but if you're a money manager and you go buy them without figuring out exactly what's going on, you deserve to lose your clients (and your job). Why would you throw billions of dollars at something because you were under the impression that some other people were buying when they weren't? Aren't you paid to go do your own research instead of just calling up the bank and believing what they say? That's a sad excuse, and a reminder to the general investor to think harder about who you leave your money with.
