I don't understand why people don't and won't realize that police don't and can't run lights and siren to every call. If we fat a house or business alarm we can't run coded just get there. So if you want me to go the speed limit behind you while your alarm is going off and place is possibly being broken into then fine.

Now if someone calls saying they SEE someone breaking in I can turn the show on lol they are freakin useless but hey.

I never actually knew this. I always thought cops always turned on the siren whenever they were responding to something.

I may still make a thread though, out of laziness. I think RCE and CSG Mike are safe since they seem to be friends. The other two I got banned were competing vendors and got the axe for going back and forth with one another.

Just post in their 'Tag-team' thread. It's literally ask them anything about suspension, and they are awesome.

Still bumps their thread, plus it's something they are pretty passionate about. They are technically competitors, but made a joint Q&A thread.

Nope. With EMS it's up to the agency but some of them don't run lights/siren to every call either.

We honestly don't have many calls we run lights/siren to.
With a domestic it has to be physical. Fights we do... Only accidents with injuries we do.. Not 100% sure why we do that considering its not like we can really help the injured. Well most can't... I've got through medic class and all that fun stuff. Just don't hold a card anymore.

Anything that could cause someone bodily harm we run coded to. Or as I said someone in progress of breaking in and someone saw it.

Running with lights/siren is risky. As you said people freak out, even if it's just an ambulance or fire truck. I've had many road rage moments in the ambulance lol the OMG lights and siren! I should slam on my brakes and stay in the middle of the road!! Is the most annoying.
I'm not sure how much time it really cuts off. People still try to get through the light before you do..... I always totally stop before going through one because people are stupid or just not paying attention. Many expect us to just go in the turn lane and pass them while they chill in the left lane..... One day I'll get canceled and then just pull them over
