Any updates? Was thinking of ordering from these guys too. Just went to my dealership to get a quote on parts and some of them are no longer valid.

That's normal....they're a little slow in updating the order status online, but soon you'll see the status change to "purchased at dealer".

Still easier and cheaper for me to get these online. Holding back for now since I have bigger projects.

Yes, the automatic nanny switches fit a manual car just fine. Better yet, you only need to add two pins to the harness to use those buttons for something else. I'll use mine as switches for front lights. Snow will be for yellow fogs while Sport will be for front LEDs. Ignore the silver...

Dude sweet! I'm still debating on if I want that button. Is it firm, the "snow/sport" button? I had some weird idea that it might be flappy for some reason, no clue why.

I like the idea of hooking them up to something. I have a BRZ Limited, so my fog light switch is already there... any ideas on what else I could use that switch for? Possibilities might be endless. I have been considering fog lights with halo rings from Nigel-JDMParts, so maybe I could hook up the halos to that? Or maybe even the DRL leg strips on the front bumper above the fogs? Hmmm... Thanks for the inspiration!

The buttons are decently firm, but they're only momentary buttons. To use them as an actual on/off button, you'll need to attach them to a latching relay. Basically you press the button and the relay leaves the lights on. Press the button again and the relay leaves the lights off.

These are the relays I usually use:

Lots of options for what you want to hook to the switches at that point.

Below I've got pictures of the back of the stock 6MT switch (gray) and the Automatic switch (black). If you look at the pins on the upper right of the black switch, you'll see there are two extra pins. Those are the outputs from the two buttons. The bottom right pin is the input (I assume it's a 12v-, but I haven't gotten that far yet).
The extra pin on top is for the button on the top. The extra pin in the middle is for the button on the bottom.

This is what it looks like inside, if you're curious. MT version, but it's the same PCB (you can see the two through-hole solder pads that have nothing attached - those are the two extra contacts that @speedrye is talking about.

I think useless buttons are more stupid than a blank button though.
I swapped mine too. OCD kicked in and I couldn't stand the silver on black ring. Whats more useless is I have snow mode in a tropical country! Haha!

Two hundred dolla and it comes as part of a kit. Not bad. Cheaper than separate pieces from JPM and such. If you want JUST the trim piece I'll buy the leather pieces from you. The trim piece is nice, aluminum with black alumite finish.
