They will definitely tide me over until I can do anything "real" with the exhaust.

I also have a few more goodies coming, but I'm keeping quiet for now on that.
Look nice don't they..??

But, one of them is sticking out further than the other and one of them is rotated a bit off from the other one.

No, no, no the other one is off..!!.....

Yes, I know you measured them .... but the ends of the OEM tailpipes are not the same distance from the muffler. Why do you think Toyota put tips on them ... so they could be adjusted..!!..

Besides, the muffler is hung on rubber hangars ... that allows it to move around.....

Oh, you measured from the sides of cut outs .....
Haven't you noticed how flimsy that stuff is. After all, they are at the end of a $25,000 car .... what do you expect laser cutting ..?? Are you sure you want to use that as a reference point ..??

So, NOW you think you got em "straight", well, don't tighten them down too hard ..... because, tomorrow morning they will look different ....

received my Eibach Pro-Kit and picked up my Q300 from the UPS depot. Hope to have both installed soon, possibly tomorrow night.

I was humored at all the sixes at one time. I really wasn't trying to make a statement about religion. Anyway, three sixes are the number to be concerned with, not seven sixes. Again, I was just amused at the timing on the highway. For the record, I am only concerned with the one Jesus.

Today I gave her a much-needed wash and I installed my Rally Armor mud flaps with the help of a friend! I didn't like the way the silver screw caps stuck out on all of the pictures I've seen of these installed, so I picked up gloss black screw cap covers from the hardware store before installing them.

This was my first mod as well as my first DIY mod, so while it might not be much to others I was really happy to get these installed . There was some frustration involved, and an extra trip to the hardware store, but all-in-all a fun and rewarding experience
