Tonight I ran over a dead deer...that was passed to me by the oncoming lane...which the person behind me dragged for half a mile...freaking deer.

My brother hit his head on the roof when we went over it (he is A-okay) I had to break away some of the plastics around the passenger side wheel. I setup a claim with State Farm and once they contact me it is going to Subaru for repairs. If they are going to replace the bumper going to have them put on a grimspeed front plate adapter rather than drilling the new one.

Now to come up with 500bucks for the copay if its going to be crazy expensive to repair.

Man so how many times have you scraped? That would be insane here in PA. That is if you like your bumper.

Make sure the insurance company knows the deer was moving so it is covered under your comprehensive and not collision. Lower deductible.

Actually only once and it's because I tapped the brakes. The scrape is minor and can only be seen if you look up under the lip. Lesson learned.

I told em it bounced off the incoming car. comprehensive. but I chose all high deductibles to make it cheaper. My car insurence is really expensive due to where I live.

Fit is close but will need some work as the 86's decklid isn't perfectly flat like the Skyline's, 2min with a roloc disc some sandpaper will take care of it. The center post took 1 min to remove. Remove a behind the 3rd brake light and then 2 screws. There is a 1" by 1.75" gap where it should be. It is near impossible to see when it is mounted unless your looking in the paints reflection so will need a plug made or filled. (The screws on the cover all have plugs that cover them)

@chanomatik
YES! Seems like you'd get some more flex if you heated it up really nice, right? I want to see this sweet, sweet action.
