That is reassuring, I am watching that ft86 speedfactory uel catted header like a hawk and I will probably jump in headfirst when a groupbuy shows up. With my experience so far with my dealer, I do not expect any issues to arise; I figured that since from outward appearances our dealer experience were similar I would ask.

glad everything is going better with the car man! Grats on the Grimmspeed strut bar. I was going to get that one but got a killer deal on the Cusco set (carbon fiber wrapped ones) so went that route.

So I have a Grimmspeed 86 oil cap, battery tie down, and master cylinder brace all coming in. Will get it all installed when I get back. I love me some Grimmspeed products. Now that the car has a new transmission, I will start tracking it more.

Nice man! I am pretty much done with my car for now, just little things for the interior. Grimmspeed has some great products for sure.

Highly recommend the strut bar.

I only got to drive the car one day with it on before having to leave it sitting for two weeks . I will definitely so some "testing" when I get back.

So after having my original flight canceled on Friday, I found a flight back yesterday and was reunited with my car. I also went and picked up my mail, only to find these little gems.

Grimmspeed battery tie down and master cylinder brace. Tomorrow my Grimmspeed 86 oil cap will be delivered.

I also have a call into Deluca Toyota in Ocala to see if my parts for my axle are in. They will replace that and the boots, and I'm also going to ask about the cutout around the 3rd brake light for the tint. I'm not a big fan and I want to see if they can re-do it.

I'm also finally getting a resonated midpipe for my FT-86SpeedFactory V1 catback. I currently have the unresonated and I love the sound. But with their new headers about to release, I figured I should add the resonator just to keep sound down. My car is nearing complete (yeah right) but I still am mulling over a few different wheel and tire combos.

Once I install the mcb and tie down, I will post pics. And soon, I promise, I will get a video of the exhaust sound before I get the resonator on there.

Thanks to @mfbmike, my engine bay got a little prettier today. When he said it was in pristine condition, he was not lying. This thing is perfect and looks great. Thanks man!

Next up was the Grimmspeed battery tie down and master cylinder brace. With some nice lighting help from @gatorbushmen, we knocked this out in no time at all. Battery tie down was pretty straight forward, but the mcb was a tight squeeze because I elected to no take off the strut bars for the install. So I just took my time but it did not take much time to do. My initial impressions were great. I tightened that sucker down and then hit the brake. Immediately I could tell there was less brake travel. Slammed on the brakes a few times to feel it and I could really feel how much "sturdier" the brakes felt. Pretty happy with all this stuff!

Sorry for the shitty iphone night pictures.

I also installed the MCB without removing any of the bracing. My only issue was when I dropped the bolt down into the engine bay and had to unfasten part of the undercarriage to retrieve said bolt.

I definitely agree that the brakes are a lot more solid with the piece installed.

Yeah, I'm glad I had my friend there to hold the bolt for me haha.
