And for the 2k, you save between an FRS and BRZ premium, you can buy some pretty nice stuff. |

The rep at the chicago auto show sounded pretty confidant when he told me the nav would be an option.

Prices still haven't been released so you really can't say you'd be saving 2 grand if you buy an Fr-S instead of a premium BRZ.

I prefer big, simple knobs that I can operate with my big Canadian mitts on in the winter. Plus, I want the FR-S to be as cheap and simple as possible and that center stack fits the bill.
Edit: Unrelated: It's snowing out right now, I really hope my snowboard will fit in the back of the car with the seats folded.

The Bespoke is not really a Navigation system. It uses your phone for the internet connection, Navigation and apps. It works with Iphone and Android. Not sure about Windows Phone 7.

They only split it up like this because of the proximity start being included in the Dual Zone HVAC. But it works and this is how they rolled. Me I am going to order the parts for the Dual Zone ac and switch it out. I got Subaru parts department, since the part is exactly the same between Scion and Subaru. That's if all you need is the Dual HVAC face and module. I bet the push button start is also part of these parts too. And it also depends on how much these parts will cost. Come on Scion sell this sucker for $22k with the bespoke...you will then have lines longer than the new Iphone lines....hehe! |

Also might be the Japanese/Euro version of the BRZ with that "nicer" center gauge area. I didn't know if the US ver was getting different trims but it seems like people have heard that it is.

What do you expect, they're the exact same vehicle. Only difference is Front Fascia and Badges and some minor interior stitching. |

Probably less than $2k difference. The real differences are what you mentioned along with HIDS and a real Navigation system. I still don't understand why they are including a real Navigation system in the premium model. That's why I still believe Scion is going to bite the bullet and include the Bespoke system in the FR-S. So yeah maybe $2k difference. Oh and it will be harder to get a BRZ since supposedly they are making less of them than the 86\FR-S per month. Has not been confirmed yet though. |
