Cool stuff, but it looks a lot like an FR-S, not a BRZ

It helped immensely. The random clunk you would get when engaging and disengaging the clutch is gone and there is very little shifter movement on and off the throttle.

There is a very noticeable noise increase, but I'm enjoying it. It sounds like the car has straight cut gears in the first 3 gears.

Definitely one of the better mods i've done for the price. Now I just am waiting on the weather to warm up for me to install the rear bushing. I'll update this when I do that!

As for what i've done to my BRZ today...well it's not really good news.

I had to take it to the dealer because I noticed this little beauty when putting air in the tires the other day:

Literally is just flaking off. I'd understand if it were just a chip from a rock, but paint on a new car should never come off in pieces like this. I'm 100% confident that if I were to hit it with a pressure washer it would come off completely.

Took it to the local dealer and they nearly fell over. I've got an appointment scheduled for it's first service and they are going to keep the car after that and give me a loaner.

I'll keep this updated as to what Subaru does to fix this situation.

Kyle

That is weird. That's like 2002 WRX Problems right there. Let us know what loaner they give you! I like the 2012+ Impreza.

I don't know, I'm up in the air on the BRZ, I was leaning toward removing it, but I'm gonna let it sit for a second and make sure on that. Much easier to remove than it is to readd it. :-)

I also recently debadged the Subaru lettering and I am considering relocating the BRZ lettering to where the FR-S/FT86/GT86 lettering is on the trunk. I haven't even really decided on if I am going to keep the BRZ letters at all.

Did you just pry it off? Or used a heatgun?

I used fishing line to remove the actual letters, then I used the blue shop paper towels, a good amount of goo gone, judicious use of elbow grease, and used my thumb nail a few times on some persnickety adhesive. No heat gun or blow dryer was used.
