Kongou is my fav....

Kind of like in Canaan where Alphard is my favorite because of her development through the series. Baddies are the best sometimes...

I don't know if anyone keeps up with it but a new episode of Sword Art Online just came out. I have yet to watch it but it is an hour long special with part recap and part new content to lead into the recently announced Season 3.

Time to catch up for me. I read through most of the series. Im In book 9 now. I hope the anime does the book justice. The 1st and 2nd season was decent!! Recap is not part of the book. Characters are but they talk way into book 5 instead of in between. Decent way of introducing them.

I can really see the connection and will not be surprised if it was true.

FATE ZERO This one is a WORK OF ART.

Initial D (kinda dissapointed in 5th stage, 4th stage had to have some of the best dialogue) Its like they are breezing through the story in 5th stage just to get it done.

Naruto

Death Note

Attack on titan

I think attack on titan has my favorite opening. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OkpRK2_gVs"]Attack on Titan - OFFICIAL English Subtitled OP - YouTube[/ame]

Claymore

Blade of the Immortal

of course DBZ ..

I think my favorite film was Galaxy express 999

Starblazers was amazing. I always liked the wave motion cannon. Reminds me of the Kzinti Lesson from Known Space: The Future Worlds of Larry Niven

"A reaction drive's efficiency as a weapon is in direct proportion to its efficiency as a drive."

Two faves of mine are Akira, and Warriors of the wind. Not sure if anyone's mentioned these two yet, but there you go.

Isn't the movie "Pacific Rim" loosely based on this anime show?

Its not loosely based on anything I dont believe. In this day and age you can't be totally original anymore.

Hell you could say Elysium is loosely based on Halo because Neil was going to direct the Halo movie, and because it has a ring shaped space station with water and grass all over it ..

Warriors of the Wind.... have you seen the non-butchered non-heavily/wrongly edited original that Warriors of the Wind was pieced together from known as Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, the studio Ghibli masterpiece?

The first intro still gives me chills. I had to read the subtitles to really appreciate it though.

Itd be better if you could read the german at the beginning.

"We are the prey? no we are the hunter".

It was when I finally realized Jager meant hunter ..and its why Jaegermeister now made so much sense as a drink, because I just recently watched this movie with robert Dinero and John Travolta. "Hunter master" basicly"

The first episode of Attack on titan seemed slow and dull but I knew I fell in love once Erin Jagers mother was pinned under the house. "My legs are crushed ...I cannot go with you" and he said "THEN I WILL CARRY YOU" ..but she commented on how it would slow them down, how they had to leave and it was their only chance of survival ..and then when she gets picked up and eaten ...ugh ...
