Buy a real cat back. Or just get the shop to fab up something differently there are all sorts of affordable setups on ebay you could hack up that actually sound good. I'm about to get my local shop to hack up an older model Honda Accord N1 catback that probably wont run me over $200 all said and done...

Every exhaust sounds different. From all the videos ive seen, a dual exit muffler delete sounds really good on the frs. For some reason mine resonates too much and is way to raspy.

I know there is a way to fix it. Just have to figure out how

Myself and several others have told you how to fix it. Put a muffler on the car. Those muffler deletes are for track days, not driving around town(which is funny because most tracks actually have noise restrictions now so they might not even be allowed there). Most state laws and local ordinances require mufflers anyway.

Do you really want to be "that guy" in your neighborhood who wakes everyone up when you leave in the morning with your annoyingly loud exhaust?

If your answer to that question is "I don't care about my neighbors" then do yourself a favor, think about how you'll feel about that same question in 10 years or when you have a child. Still think muffler deletes are cool? If your answer is still yes, then let me break it down for you... I can assure you that it won't be cool when you are older.

Put a muffler on your car and don't be an inconsiderate tool.

Kind of reminds me of this old story:

A man and his family were stuck on the roof of their house during a flood. He prays for God to rescue him. A boat comes by and offers help, he says, no thanks ..... God will save me..... same for another boat and a helicopter.

As the water rises over the top of the roof, the man cries out ..... God, why haven't you saved me .. ??

A loud voice comes from the sky and booms "I sent 2 boats and a helicopter ..... what else do you want" .... !!

You can call it rude, I'll call it just repeating what multiple people have said in a different way that might sink in to you. Most of us are sitting here just thinking you are dense. Either way the solution has been provided to you but you are to stubborn to see it. If you can't understand how riding around without a muffler makes you look like a jerk to pretty much 99% of the population then you need more help than making your exhaust quieter. Best of luck.

Don't missquote me or missunderstand me. I appreciate a lot of the tips and suggestions posted here and going to heed most of them, but i dont need some self-righteous fool telling me "if you dont like it put the muffler back" or to be "considerate".

I knew what the risks/consequences of doing the delete were. I just wasnt expecting different results from what I have seen others post with a similar setup.

As it actually turns out, another member told me that they had the same issue and over a few months time the carbon build up significantly reduced the drone and raspiness.

Again, Im not here whining or crying about why it went wrong, but how (if possible) to better the current situation, but I forgot this is a forum and as long as the internet exists, there will always be pompous flamers, baggers, trollers, and self-appointed Nietzsches.

Sounds like OP doesn't have Berk, sounds like OP has custom made Y split. Y splits often (not always) are notoriously terrible sounding because of the "tuning fork" effect of them resonating.

Sounds like poor-quality custom work honestly, just spring the $300 for Berk dual exit

After taking a closer look, I realized the shoo has done a piss poor job. The welding is aweful and the bend isnt as requested. Thanks for your input. Really helped me out.
