Not in South Florida, but I'll let you in on a bit of a Central Florida secret (at least, nobody ever talks about it). Just SW of Orlando, Green Lake Swamp has some curvy roads in the farmland. Just drive responsibly and watch out for loose gravel.

It reminds me of the farmland in KY/TN but without the elevation change and slightly less aggressive. Still, the most fun I've found in FL.

Ballpark figure on price for a track day? I don't know how to AutoX or even when/where I'd go about doing it. Was it you that told me that some guys do AutoX at the BBT center?

Not sure I know where that is. Have you ever been to the road in Clearmont? By where Sugarloaf Mountain is? It's great! Did a 100mile bike race out there 6 years ago and I remember driving through those roads in my (then) very new Mazda 3 5MT and it was a ton of fun. The roads have tons of elevation change and nice curves and even some with a slight embankment to it.

It's not at all far from there. Southwest, on the other side of the turnpike. I'm being somewhat vague for a reason!

Any better description on the location? "green lake swamp fl" isn't finding anything in google. I'm going to be headed to Sebring for the race, so this could be a little detour.

Green Swamp, my bad. It's a little bit far for a detour from Sebring (maybe 90 minutes north), but it is better than anything I've found down here.

Nothing that fantastic down here in S FL, but this is what I've found.

Pratt Whitney Rd between Beeline and Kanner HWY http://goo.gl/FeI9lK - I will often find old Porches and such on a Saturday morning. It's a road thats doesn't get a lot of traffic, you can make sure your car can get to triple digits without injuring anyone.

Alt A1A Between Stuart and Ft Pierce http://goo.gl/bpmpju - It's just a nice long drive with a round-a-bout. Nothing special, but it is a nice drive along the coast with multiple areas to stop along the beach. While you are there, make sure to take the NE MacArthur Blvd http://goo.gl/TPAVNs

Dupuis Management Area west of Indiantown - This is one of my favorites for getting my car dirty and just having a blast. You want to enter this entrance http://goo.gl/cb4SIw and turn trac off. It's a 9 mile dirt road with twists and bends that dead-ends to a small lake. You don't want to go blasting through like a maniac because people do camp, ride horses, and hike out there! It probably has the most turns in S FL, hah. Another thing, they sometimes close it for hunting.

Thats about all I have, and it's not much. When I lived in Minnesnowta there were more back roads to have fun on

Yeah have you been to Clearmont? Go to the area where Sugarloaf Mountain is. Also, Orlando, Winter Park, and Sanford has some nice stuff. There's also a strip of road that heads towards Valencia CC (the east campus I believe) that has this awesome road with a few twists and a hill. It's fun. I used to play around some nice areas there when I lived in that area.

Hey this is great! Was hoping for something a little closer to my area though but this is good to know!

i guess it's all relative, but i've searched high and low around here and only found a few isolated areas that could be entertaining. i grew up in the hills around the appalachian mountains though, so i was completely spoiled at an early age lol. i'm a road snob for sure.

I used to drive that every day, when I lived in PSL and worked at P&W. It became boring pretty quick, aside from the occasional dead gator in your lane, lol.

There's some good stuff on the way to Gainesville. I remember seeing some nice hills and such going towards UF. Kind of like it around there, wish we had stuff like that down in Miami.
