Inside diameter of the TB x length of the TB = (x) sq in, as a function of the amount air passing through the TB, contacting the surface area for (y) amount of time divided by the delta in temperature between a TB that is being cooled by coolant and one that isn't. Of course, atmospheric pressure, humidity and air density would have to be factured in before this could be used to evaluate HP gain (if any).

Found a long scratch spanning from the fender back to the rear quarter panel.... gonna try and buff it out come spring.
