I was never the person to like the license plate to the side like that but I also cringe thinking about drilling into the bumper. At the same time I rather not get hassled for not running a front plate either so what made you pick perrin over grimmspeed? It doesn't really matter I know since they both do the same thing but I just thought I'd ask.

It's a very low risk. None of my cars have had front plates. Only been ticketed once but that was in lowly San Bernardino where I parked on a street next to a hospital while visiting a patient there. They were clearly just after the revenue because they didn't demand proof of correction (I guess they were hoping they'd get to ticket me again someday...).

Yea unfortunately I was alone on the road in a quiet town and being the only car on the road at 2:30 AM with CHP looking at me, it's a reason for them to pull me over. Perfectly fine, nothing to worry about and I don't drive and drink anyways so it wouldn't matter but it was such an annoying hassle that held me up. So far I've been fine still, only gotta keep a look out for CHPs.

Yeah, no drilling for me either. I've prob been rolled 3-4 times for no plates in my previous cars. My friend had the grim speed and he said he didn't like it, didn't ask why. It's a simple and relatively cheap mod, I didn't put much thought of what brand to go with. Overall I'm happy with it, and I kinda wanted to show off my new limited edition plates anyways.

Drove in the snow for the first time today. X-ice 3's take the edge on dry handling, but Blizzaks on the RSX feels more stable in the snow. Then again, it's hard to compare since the 2 cars are different enough so that the two tires will have different experiences depending on the car. Still felt safe and not as noisy though.

I also drove it in snow for the first time today. I am running Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT on my car. It did pretty good, snow was rather deep in some places, but it went right through it fine.
