I'm thinking of getting the Cusco AOS. Direct bolt in and it looks nice

I am honestly not sure. I have never heard the term AOS before, but FT86SpeedFactory has them under the Catch Can category, so I am guessing that they are the same thing?

Catch can stores and needs to be drained. Separator type will vent to the atmosphere or the crank case

I've read that these only are very helpful if you have FI. Other than that, they are pretty useless.

what about this?

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1221680

It says oil air separator but has a photo of oil being caught in the can.

I'm interested in a catch can, just want to know which one to buy

further to my above comment...

Is there any REAL advantage to the separator type catch can or just an inline?

Thanks

I have a single Radium right now, and it's caught about 1/4" of oil in the bottom so far with about 6 months of driving...once I get more room with the lightweight battery install in I might go with a second one to complete the setup. Just took a picture then dumped it in an old oil container:
