not gonna lie, I may steal this idea, not the STi location but the stacked Subaru and BRZ. Well done!

What did I do to my BRZ? I traded it in for a 2014 WRX hatchback.... As much as it pained me to do it, the BRZ was just not practical even with young kids and a minivan as our second car.
The BRZ is a special car for sure. I will miss it very much whenever I am taking a turn and wanting to slide the rear end out and have some fun. The WRX is certainly a very different animal. Extremely planted and it feels like a rocket next to the BRZ. I am thinking in three years or so I can find a used FR-S or BRZ on the cheap and have a third car. |

You had to do what you had to do. I well know the pain of shedding a sports car for a more family-friendly vehicle when the kids were younger and later needed transportation to various activities. At least your "family" car is a lot more fun than the pedestrian sleds I had to endure. A used FT-86 in a few years will be a great way to rejoin the owner ranks at a moderate cost. ![]() I spent several years without a "fun" car ... and then have had numerous sports cars (Datsun Zs, RX-7s, S2000s, Miatas, and the BRZ) in recent years. The current Miata is now in the body shop (over 3k worth of damage from a "deer encounter") and I'll be slipping out in a bit to run some errands and exercise the BRZ. Enjoy your WRX ... something I've considered as a "practical" car.

That knob is a beast! I'm loving the products they are pumping out. But what's with the GTSpec braces? I can't tell what those are for.

I could be wrong, but I believe BPS had a short shifter and reverse lockout option before anyone else out there...
