yes, as of right now, its considered a one off item so it will cost $1700 for the kit. If you wait until it becomes publicly available, the price should be around $1000 for the kit.
Not sure why knuckles would need to be sent in as cores since the kit utilizes a completely new piece.

Not 100% sure ive been bugging them alot about getting it done on thier facebook for when it will be in mass production so i can do it for cheaper.
They are not sent in for cores they are sent in to modify they have to cut off the tie rod bolt on spot and re poistion it for the longer tie rods. Guess im not sure on the final mass production part i would assume they would make thier own knuckles in the final kit but then again they may not.

I worry at the other geometry changes being sacraficed for lock with that kit. DOn't get me wrong, I think it looks pretty cool. But it looks to me to be a "lock a no cost" kit. I actually think it offers more lock than is needed.
I dont want to change my front steering geometry, I like the way it drives. I've bought some new inner tie rods. I couldnt find any reviews or comments on how much more lock these provide, so I'll look to provide this info myself in the next week or two. |

I'm not over the moon about the brand, but I couldn't find any others even in Japan. Well, except for for Chargespeed. I'll try these, but I'd feel a lot better getting some teins or jic's when they release something. I've used teins in my old silvia, and have jic in my ae86. Plus the hardrace ones were in stock in NZ and I have a drift event on the 7th. |

It's not very hard at all. I still can easily powerslide with 255s and as far as a momentum drift, it's about the same just grips up much easier when ya need it. Also just get out and try it as experience is your best teacher

I've been doing a lot of sliding around since I got my car. Stock set up for now with simple power mods. I'm more curious as to what techniques most of you use to kick the rear tires lose. I really want to avoid clutch kicking as it does kill the drivetrain. I power over a lot when it's wet out, but sometime when it's to grippy I make a full out of myself lol. Tips??

Drifting in general kills cars. Just the nature of the beast. Breaking shit and crashing into stuff is part of it. Just like with motorcycle riders, it's not a matter of IF...It's a matter of WHEN If you want to make the car easier to break traction, go down to 205 width tires out back and go up to like 50psi cold. A hard enough flick while jumping off the throttle should easily induce some lift off oversteer. At that point, you just need to keep the throttle down and keep your momentum up. Don't let the car get all bent out of shape and start gripping up on you. Fast is safe

1: stop caring about making a fool of yourself. Everyone fucks up. Don't believe their edited videos online. They either had 10 other bad runs, or have gotten to a stage of being near perfect by learning and making thousands of mistakes. 2: stop caring about your drivetrain. 3: get a flash tune that removes the shitty stock rev limit death feature 4: handbrake is what I would practise. Throw in the odd clutch kick. 5: stop caring about your drivetrain |
