I really am still a bit confused when it comes to any camber adjustment issues. Can you just drop springs and/or coilovers in and remount the tires and everything will be fine?
Sort of. I have a pretty amazing alignment shop. Alignment will be key when you lower. They adjust my tow so that my tires wear evenly. Honestly it depends on how much money you want to spend. I can list tons of parts THAT I DON'T USE that will get your alignment perfect. End of the day, I say, do what you can with what you have. I have springs only. That's what I have. I don't stress about tire wear too much just make sure I have the money to replace the tires when needed.

Ya, that concerns me a bit..... in that, I don't have any established relationships with any alignment shops, and, if I'm being honest, this is the type of thing I'm trying to avoid being a necessity (needing to tweak the setup enough to build a relationship somewhere). Perhaps it is unavoidable, but I would love to get a set of coils or springs/struts where I can set it to somewhere between 1-1.5" drop and be as set to go as possible going forward without having to worry about unnecessary/excessive tire wear, rubbing, etc. But, perhaps that is a bit of a pipe dream, I just hope that is not the case. On the topic of spending, as I mentioned earlier, my mentality is I'll gladly spend for something that will get me what I want, I'd like to cap the suspension costs around $2k at the top end, but I'd like to have some room to add some strut towers/sway bars down the line. I just feel rather overwhelmed this point, I've been trying to research this and learn as much as I can but I just can't nail down what is the 'best' option for my situation.

Get on yelp and see what your locals say about different alignment shops. To be honest with you, even at -2* you're tires aren't going to wear too fast. My Cobra had a negative camber from the factory. Tires wore a little on the inside, but not much. Rotating tires will help too… My front setup even lowered (1") is at 0* camber. It's the rear that has a little.

Toe is what will kill your tires. Camer plays a role but not as much as toe.

As your car goes lower in height, it will gain negative camber. You gain toe out up front with more camber and gain toe in for the back with more camber.

Getting an alignment afterwards will definitely help with tire life.
