I just had my Borla exhaust installed today and went on a 30 mile test drive afterwards. This exhaust is fantastic. I had the following criteria:
-No Drone -Nice deep sound but not obnoxiously loud -Weight savings -Clean OEM like look but with bigger tips The Borla has hit all my criteria. I experienced no drone at any RPM level driving around today. It's slightly louder than stock when doing normal driving and really kicks on acceleration. It does hang slightly lower than stock. I believe more like 1/2 to 1 inch, not 2 inches. I bought mine from Amazon as they have great pricing, free shipping, no tax in my state, and got 12 months no intrest on my Amazon card. It also didn't take anywhere as long as the 1 to 3 months for shipping they advertise. It was like two weeks after I placed the order for it to ship. I apologize for my car being dirty. FYI... For those interested in track-day sound levels at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (MRLS), this cat-back (140496) complies with a 90dBA track day @ MRLS. If you add our UEL Header (17284) with our cat-back, this system (with factory over-pipe + OE secondary catalytic converter) will comply with 92dBA sound limit @ MRLS.
