40 degrees here in PA means a hand wash and quick detail. Unfortunately what comes next is finding more paint chips and scratches.

Apexi Power Intake Panel Filter

I just replaced the stock filter on my car and... well... OK, I know this is probably just a psychological reaction but I actually feel less "lag" in lower RPMs. I'm going out there again to drive it some more and get a better feel for it.

I'll write up more about it tonight on my journal. This is the filer I replaced it with http://www.apexi-usa.com/store/power...cion-fr-s.html

Cheers!

Good mod ....

Well, of course it allows the engine to make more power, just like the K&N drop in filter in my FR-S does.

They are specially designed to allow more "dark, cool, damp" PNW air molecules into the engine.

Plus, for $50, they got to increase power.

Now that we got that settled, I'm off to nap ... ZZZZZZ

Successfully dodged a large semi-truck tire tread on the freeway yesterday with only a minor scuff on the rght rear tire. Today I thought I successfully dodged a bunch of debris on the freeway, but a piece flung up a made 4" scrape on the rear lower drivers side panel. Very visible on hot lava. I'll most likely attempt repair myself next week. Interstate 78 is the pits.

Heel on the ground for left foot isn't a huge deal right? I feel like our clutch has a huge free play spot before it actually engages.. I'll be adjusting height when I get home tomorrow!

I would like to know also. Anyone know the answer to this as it relates to "riding the clutch" as they used to say in the old days.

Today I was looking at my FRS, I found some light scratches on the passenger front bumper, I have NO IDEA how that happened. Looks like I brushed a tree or something.
Ran my finger nail on it, it caught it. I was like :'(

Whipped out some quick detailer spray, didn't come off.

Took out some Meguiars NXT Gen Tech Wax 2.0, a few wipes...good as new.

Ah

MTEC springs tomorrow, just didn't have time today after hunting down the appropriate 27mm socket, u-joint, and torque wrench.
