Hi guys,
AllZA1JA01G, ZA1JA00G, ZA1J900G and ZA1J700G ROMs (EU 6MT) now support adjustable launch control and flat-foot shift. So if this applies to you and you would like to test this, please email me at shiv@vishnutuning.com and I'll send you a new map folder with these functions active. Or if you would rather wait until the next public map release, that's good too.

J and N series ROMs are in the process of getting these functions too. Hopefully by New Year

Cheers
shiv

No they are quite different. Around the 0xBAD00 section. I'll email td-d and ask him to add it into the RomRoader XDLs as well. And then will release the enhanced ROMs soon after.

Anyone have video of the sound at 4k? I'm curious.

I've got a muffler delete and honestly I found a reduction in overall volume, and while I think I can hear the 4k noise people mention it is not dramatic at all in my car. It's nowhere near as abrupt or loud as civic type r vtec was anyway.

@shiv@vishnu

So I ordered new grimspeed gaskets and installed them the other day using the method of torquing the inner nuts first then the outer ones in an alternating pattern. The old gaskets didn't appear to have a huge exhaust leak but there might of been a small one. Took logs on the way home from work today and LTFT's were still all over the place, but maybe thats because its still trying to relearn from fixing the exhaust leak?

http://www.datazap.me/u/malt/12-29-1...skets?1-2-9-11

So I figured I'd reflash the maps to see if I could wipe the LTFT's and start fresh. Hooked up the OFT to my computer erased the maps and redownloaded the maps from shiv's site. Uploaded the Stage 2 map to the OFT and went outside to reflash it.

Got this error message:

"OFT is out of sync DME write denied"

What exactly does that mean and how do I fix it.

EDIT: I did make a backup of my orginal rom and thought about erasing the OFT and reuploading everything again. Just went to try and do that and I get the error "Cannot erase this device". This doesn't sound good....

That error occurs when you delete the map that you were previous running. For example, if you were running map bank 4 and then you delete it and only load maps in bank 1, 2 and 3.

Simple fix: just load maps in each of the 5 map banks and you'll be good to go.

I did manage to get the car flashed again with your tip, thanks! I think there was roughly 2ish gallons of E85 left in the tank when I filled up which might cause a small lean condition if I understand how LTFT works correctly. I'll run this tank out and fill up with 93 and check once more in hopes that this is resolved. If not then I'll either pony up and buy your open flash header and sell this borla header because I had nothing but issues with the borla header on my STi and the flanges not being flat. I'd rather not have to do that but the thought of replacing another set of $30 gaskets for the same result doesn't sound to pleasant to me.

This log is roughly 10-15 miles after the reflash and it already looks LOADS better to me. Obviously there needs to be some more miles put on it for some fine adjustment to the LTFT's but I don't see it jumping from 18 to -2 anymore while cruising down the road.

Fingers crossed that the exhaust leak doesn't come back.

Judging by your datalog, I can almost assure you that you still have the leak. Calculated AFR is leaner than it should be with that map. Which suggest that there still might be air entering the exhaust system at the header flange/head connection. I'm sure you will see positive fuel trims ramping up with more driving time. The only solution to get your trims in order would be to fix your header once and for all (assuming you think it is still leaking).
