No no, you need to tell me which vendor you want banned. You're safe because you're not one.

Am I the only one that wish there was a section where I could post: "I want part A, B, and C" and vendors would fight over giving me the best price? It'd be so fun.

Maybe I'm a little off, idk. Anyway, finally got my windows tinted today!

I wasnt actually thinking of the same thing. Or if we were able to post what we want and the forum members could link us sites that may have the cheapest price for it.

Edit they both had intercoolers
They both increase in temperature due the act of compressing the gas, but the turbo also has the exhaust gases running through it to increase it's temperature.

Nah, that's Eaton TVS like Dimman said. Innovate I think uses a Lysholm (which, by the way, is HORRIBLE for street driving because it saps so much power).

Without going into details, I think you can think of TVS's efficiency as kind of like how high revving naturally aspirated engines make a ton of torque at the top end. The port is designed so that in some speed range the uneven flow of air and waves are "in tune" with the spinning vanes, and allow the compressor to operate much more efficiently than you'd initially think.

That said, there's a reason why the maps don't show you what happens below 9000rpm, the compressor sucks.

Saps power compared to...Non-positive displacement? ...the roots style? (Above or below that 9000 rpm you mentioned.)

I wonder if that's why they had such a hard time getting the sprintex kit to idle well?

Yup. Roots style doesn't use that much power idling, it just has to turn the gears and pump air through a tube not against any significant pressure. The twin screw is always compressing air, so twin screw supercharged cars have crappy idle because the engine needs to produce significantly more torque at idle to turn the charger.

Also, I thought of a neat way to have a manual transmission hybrid. Hyundai uses 2 clutches, but if you think about it, neutral is kind of like declutching the transmission input shaft, so why not have an electric motor on the input shaft (after the clutch)? The electric motor throttle is actuated at the same time as the gas engine throttle, and if you want to get fancy you could have the electric motor speed follow the gas engine speed. To start the engine you'd put it in neutral, release clutch, step on gas pedal. Downshifts/upshifts would be automatically synchronized.
