Looks good to me. I really like that look, I'd go the same route but I definitely need a nice spoiler on there to match the front.

I'd say painting hood is optional.
But definitely eyelids 100% have to go. It's not that eyelids are bad all around, they just look a bit off on these cars specifically. It's probably something to do with the "hood lines" not flowing straight out to the headlamps. They feel like the headlamps don't intersect a natural cut of the hood, but part of its design.

Hood is functional for a DD.

eyelids and canards I'd get rid of on a DD.

What brand hood is that? how is the fitment? would be curious to see the fitment close up pics.

I really like the canards. I'm a fan if painted carbon hoods, however painting yours would kill the cool contrast you have going on. As for how you friends feel, If we all had the same style, then what would be the point of self expression? DO YOUR THING!

Removed the eyelids and posting a pic now of them removed.

I think it would look killer without the eyelids and inner canards.

Your car though.
Thank you for the opinion, eyelids removed.

I really do, I just thought that people would say "RICE".

It's your car, and if you like it that's what matters - you're the one driving it after all.

I would encourage you not to feel obligated to alter or change anything because your friends, or other people don't like it. I think you're going to feel conflicted if you try to stylize your car the way you want to, but also want to achieve your friends approval who are going to have their own style, ideas, etc about what looks good - that's why they have their own style, and you have yours. Nonetheless I always love seeing something really unique being done, even if it's not something that I would do - great work!

Painted hood, but leaving vents unpainted.
Shortened outer cannards.
No eyelids.

I did a crappy photoshop of what that could look like.

Thank you for the image! was imagining for a while how it would look like painted and you cleared it up for me, thanks.

Seriously though you are missing a big wing. Otherwise it's befitting of your region right? Dubai baby! It's okay even if you just look the part.

I personally think it looks good. A little over the top but some cars look 100x better in person. Everything about your car is nothing like what you see all the time in the sates, again it's your region.
Already got a spoiler in the back that goes well with the carbon fiber stuff, here you go:

Haha that's the first thing I changed when I bought this car.

OZ Ultraleggeras for tracking (18x8.5 square +48) flat black.

and for DD Rays CE28N's 18x8.5 fronts and 18x9.5 rears gunmetal silver.

I believe it's an FRS Chargespeed one, a friend ordered it for me, just showed me the bonnet online and I was like order it for me. Perfect, I'll try to get you close ups .

Here's the pic of the eyelids removed and a pic in daylight as promised:

Here's a video of the car before the hood, canards and mirror covers were added:

Car looks good, but as mentioned, paint the hood - except the vents. And get rid of those ricey headlight covers.

Btw, what bootspoiler is that? Looks similar to an Abflug?

Btw, leave those canards, you can never have too many canards!
What canards are those? I want some

Custom made spoiler based on an Abflug. I believe I saw a similar design on modbargains except FRP.

The canards, I found them on ebay unsure of the name.

As much as I love a painted hood for a lower profile, I don't think thats what you are going for and I personally don't think its overkill for the race car look you are going for. The eyelids were terrible. In my opinion, I think you should go hard, CF the whole boot.

like this you mean? tempting haha but I think the whole car would be CF and would start to look like the Mansory SLR:

Not really, done in one of the best upholstery shops in here. Still not done with the interior and might just order JPM coachworks stuff like the dashboard cover and the center/gear console.

Much better. Now, bake and black out those headlamps and paint the hood lol

To be honest if you like it, then thats the important thing. The eyelids were 100% atrocious but I believe everything else is pretty subjective. The blacking out headlamps and painted hood are what I would do. YMMV
