Looks good to me. I really like that look, I'd go the same route but I definitely need a nice spoiler on there to match the front.
I'd say painting hood is optional. But definitely eyelids 100% have to go. It's not that eyelids are bad all around, they just look a bit off on these cars specifically. It's probably something to do with the "hood lines" not flowing straight out to the headlamps. They feel like the headlamps don't intersect a natural cut of the hood, but part of its design.

Hood is functional for a DD.
eyelids and canards I'd get rid of on a DD. What brand hood is that? how is the fitment? would be curious to see the fitment close up pics. |

I really like the canards. I'm a fan if painted carbon hoods, however painting yours would kill the cool contrast you have going on. As for how you friends feel, If we all had the same style, then what would be the point of self expression? DO YOUR THING!

Car looks good, but as mentioned, paint the hood - except the vents. And get rid of those ricey headlight covers.
Btw, what bootspoiler is that? Looks similar to an Abflug? ![]() Btw, leave those canards, you can never have too many canards! What canards are those? I want some

As much as I love a painted hood for a lower profile, I don't think thats what you are going for and I personally don't think its overkill for the race car look you are going for. The eyelids were terrible. In my opinion, I think you should go hard, CF the whole boot.

Much better. Now, bake and black out those headlamps and paint the hood lol
To be honest if you like it, then thats the important thing. The eyelids were 100% atrocious but I believe everything else is pretty subjective. The blacking out headlamps and painted hood are what I would do. YMMV
