I need to take my car into a dealer. Changed the oil today with my dad and we noticed a rather low coolant level, transmission rattle in neutral, and some residue around what we think was the crank case seal. Just want stuff documented/checked out under warranty. I live in Baltimore, what's the best dealership to go to for service work by me?

There's a Heritage VW Subaru dealership in Owings Mills.

I'm not sure of any other dealerships around Baltimore.

Thanks. I know where they are I was just curious of people's experience with service departments. Bought the car from Annapolis but that is a bit of a drive. I was possibly going to take it to Wilkins in Glen Burnie.

My apologies. I read what you said wrong. I go to Heritage because that's where I got my car but...I have only had my initial oil change done there. So far so good :/

There's a guy on the forums who actually works at Wilkins.

Got tagged by a rock mid-corner on some newly found backroads. Gave me
an excuse for the first oil change, but I checked under immediately after and
the initial front portion (looks like a black plastic cover behind the front bumper)
service called it the "splash guard" is cracked. Everything checked out, but Toyota didn't replace it.
Anyone have an idea where this part is sold? I'll also buy any spare that was replaced as long as it's decent.

Get the part number and buy from any number of Subaru parts places online taht won't gouge the shit out of you.
