So I picked up a new 2013 FR-S 10 Series a few weeks ago..

My username has been crankless for years because I have owned a 04 RX8, I didn't know if I would love this car as much as I did my 8 but I have to say in the last few weeks I say yes. Just wanted to introduce myself. Only thing I have done to the car is install an HKS drop in filter. #744 of 2500

WELCOME .... crankless ...... and CONGRATULATIONS ....

Nice pictures ......

Now ALL you need to do is modify the exhaust ..... and you're done ...... hear me ..??

Well, OK ..... don't "hear me" but, don't say I didn't warn you ..... the mod bug is very powerful ..

I like that spoiler on the 10 series. Get rid of that dealer advertisement on the back though

Dealer advertisements are GONE, I'm going to mod it tastefully and I am planning on going FI in a few years. Before the rx8 I had a 400whp dsm, miss and loved that car also. So I have the mod itch, just not the funds at this time hah.

We have vendors on this forum that sell them. Check the groupbuy section they are pretty well priced too.

I almost bought a 10 four different times but I just couldn't get over the fact that I hate silver cars with a passion.

That was 100% of the reason right there. I hate silver on cars so I stayed away. Maybe if it was like some wild color like the a vibrant green or a yellow or a shade of dark red or some frozen blue I would have jumped on it.

It is a nice color though, even if it is silver.

I have a 10 ... I really didn't want silver but I went for the limited edition due to limited production. Now I kind of wish I had waited for the 2014 Monogram with heated leather seats, but oh well.
It actually has a bit of a blue sheen in broad daylight. I've grown to like it although I originally wanted Raven. Everyone always comments on the color.

Congrats!

It's one of those colors you have to see in person to fully appreciate.

Yea that slight blue tinge is nice. I've seen it up close at the Toyota dealer in the area. I'll have to do some research on that monogram.
