Alternatively, would the less wide 17x8 +45 fit if I decided to settle on that, with 225/40 tires? (Again, only offset available.)

Hey guys so I'm about to order xxr 527's they come in 18x8.75 et35, et 20 or 18x9.75 et 20 would I be able to run a staggered setup on ebaich sportline drop without rub

Just to give my experience.
I run 18x9.5 ET38 all around
235/40/18 Pilot Sport all around
Stock coilovers
Eibach Sportline
No Rubbing issue (it's very close to the struts but no issue)

Well, it may work aswell with 5mm spacers. It depends a bit on tires sizes and also tire brand, as they tend to have different tire wall wide and therefore it is really a try and error, or finding someone running your exact wish setup and check with them. 10mm spacers will work no matter what tire/brand setup, 5mm may work with the proper tires

the 18x9.75 +20 will poke out about 2-3cm in the rear, unless you run some mad camber.

i apologize as this topic has been brought up a lot . . . but i've scoured the threads and can't get a clear sense of which way to go . . . i need help.

i'm looking at rpf1 in 17x8 and i can't decide 35 vs 45. is there any advantage from a performance/fitment standpoint ? or is it purely a cosmetic issue poke vs tuck. i'm not planning any suspension mods . . . the car is a daily driver with a track day every few months (hopefully more !!)

Short answer: no noticable difference performance wise.

Long answer: there will be 2cm difference in distance between the wheels (side to side). I'm not proficient enough to tell you the exact handling differences, but I'm confident that only a tofu delivery driver would notice any difference. If you catch my "drift".

Which if these width+offset set up would need less camber (< -2.0) with 245/35 tires on - 9.5+30 or 10.0+37? The set up would be intended for the rear, and i will roll the fenders if needed.

Short -> both about the same, only 1mm difference

Long -> 0.5" difference, 0.5" is 12.7mm. It will add 50% of it to the inside, and 50% to the outside, so each 6.3mm. +30 and +37 are 7mm difference.
So the 10.0+37 kills the 7mm offset difference by being 6.3mm wider on the outside of the wheel.

However, 245 tires will be streched on a 9.5", and will be even more streched on a 10" wheel.

Fenders are rolled from factory btw.

yes, so its pretty much the same. No idea however about how much camber you need, I leave that to someone else to answer.

My calculations from looking 17x8 and 17x9 came out that +35 poked a tiny bit without camber adjustment; +45 will be tucked without spacers.
