Took my BRZ to my old high school to practice launching on an incline while in my parents neighborhood. Had a few looks and laughs from passersby.

Great view! I notice that you're from SB, where did you take these pictures from? I'll definitely have to make the drive up myself sometime.

The pics were taken about halfway up Gibraltar Road: plug these coordinates into google maps: 34.471021,-119.679415

The road has some amazing views (same with the road it connects to at the top which runs along the top of the mountains), but isn't super fun to drive (especially during the day) due to the fact that it's quite narrow and has a lot of completely blind corners. The road surface itself is also not in the greatest condition. It's well worth visiting, but it's not a canyon carving type road if you're looking for a fast drive.

I just drove around in mine. I had nothing else to do, or anyone to spend time with. Boring compared to everyone else.

If driving is boring, then you're doing it wrong!

That's true @Turkish but we don't have any fun twisting roads that I know of here. I just cruised with the windows down on the beach road.

Ah, yea, I could see that being less fun, a few inconspicuous donuts never hurt anyone though. I hope you had some very happy holidays!

Ahh, thanks for the reply and the tips! I'll keep that in mind and check it out next time I'm in town!
