Hi everyone! New to the forum and I thought i'd say hello. Picked up a 2014 WRB BRZ a week ago. Already got some 18x9.5 Enkei Rpf1s in White that im gonna throw on as soon as winters over. Will be ordering some coils here soon just looking to see which would be best for what im going for. Also just picked up a Berk dual muffler delete which should be here sometime soon. Stay tuned for a build thread!

Hey guys,

Im just about to pick up an 86 in about a months time. Just waiting for the facelifted models to arrive with the new spoiler. Just a question, since its still open, would you guys suggest the high(GTS) or standard(GT) version?

Just want to know if its worth spending the extra R30k ($3000) on a higher specced model...

Thank you

Just wanted to say Hi, I'm new here. I`ve had my FRS for 6 months now and I love it. So far the winter has been pretty fun. This is my first FR in snow.

...... JDMVENOM.

Chicago .... great restaurants ... is Lawry's Prime Rib still a great dining experience .. ??

I worked in Chicago for a year .... commuted from Saint Louis .... long story.

You mentioned "This is my first FR in snow". What do you mean by that? ..... I'm a little slow on the uptake ... sometimes.

If your car came with "summer tires" and you are running them in the snow ..... well, you surely know by now ... they don't work too well.

Stay tuned to the forum for lots of good information and fun stuff for your car.....

Hey Humfrz... Thank you for the welcome...

The following is what the GTS has compared to the GT:

Smart keyless entry
heated seats
HID's and LED dayltime running lights
bigger wheels (17 inch)
dual zone climate control
touch screen audio controls
digital speedo
alcantara trim on the seats
and that frameless rear view mirror

Dont know how much of this will be usable to me. Does pick the interior up though from the almost empty standard interior.

Thanks for the tips...

when i said it was my first FR in snow, i ment that eveytime in the winter i have had a AWD or FF. I`m not use to the rear kicking out....lol
But i do have snow tires on, i made sure to get them before the winter.

by the way that is a crazy commute you had, i dont think i could of done that for work. thats like a 3 hour drive one way right?
