Picked up the gamma 11 jordans today

After reading this thread a few times I got interested to look up and see how much some of these Sneakers cost and I was totally shocked at the prices that I saw. Nike Jordan Foams I think they call them were priced at $322. Of my the car would never get a Mod at that rate. And I presume that some of the collectors buy several pairs of these expensive shoes.

The retail for those are less, what you are seeing is the resell value. Many who got into the sneaker-game tend to purchase more than the pair they will own. The key is buy at least three: one to resell for more than $50 on top of retail, one to wear, and the other is to loose is the closet/basement/storage so you can come back to and dig up for it later five-ten-fifteen years later.

The tern endowment effect plays a big part in purchasing and reselling these so-called "HEAT" sneakers. Just like any item anyone has ever collected and see any value of it, all it will take is another person to place a radical price on it and you will see an influx of the bandwagon.

Looks like that story is fake. MJ would never make an appearance to sign shoes, haaha. He doesn't show up for anything, he just accepted his HOF trophy a few years ago. Why would he sign shoes?
