In a way yes I was "exhibiting speed" or something by stepping on the gas for 1 second (my car doesn't have enough power to do a real power slide though), but at the same time at the 23 mph I was going it's really hard to accidentally hit something...if I lost control completely somehow I'd slide like 10 feet to a halt, and there was no oncoming traffic. It's not like I was the kid in the Mustang I mentioned like 4 pages ago who was full on power sliding around a traffic circle in the middle of the day when there were people walking around. The cop wrote "35" on the ticket but I saw the rev counter and know my exact speed to be well under 25. From a safety perspective I don't see how it's less safe than doing like 30mph in a narrow residential street, which people always do.

The cop said it was dangerous because I was turning a "blind corner" and drunk people or something could be in the middle of the street because they couldn't care to use the crosswalk. Eh, I dunno.

Funny thing is, the other cop in the car comes over and tells me they could be writing me a worse ticket, and then he starts talking to me about cars, he said he was surprised Toyota decided to make the twins, and mentioned that the cop writing me the ticket has a modded WRX that's "probably faster than my STi" (cough cough illegal). He did say that at night I shouldn't try those things because it draws a ton of attention and most people walking around at night are either drunk or seeking trouble so police are wary, which is true haha. No more shenanigans I guess.

Eh still chicken poop.

I seriously need a vacation before I turn full blown crazy. Work has been hell since my neighbor who I work with has been mad at me and acting like a kid. I've been shunned so I don't get to eat with him and the other patrolman and he was making me take his calls the other night and go to calls alone that I shouldn't be alone on (he got in trouble for that one). It's immature and insanely stupid. He'll the reason he's mad is stupid! But none the less it sucks when work sucks horribly.

Secondly I don't have any family even remotely close. So holidays blow. I'm glad I worked thanksgiving and will be working Christmas.

Thirdly I got a second job to afford everything and not live paycheck to paycheck. Haven't had my first paycheck there yet.....

Annnddddd we have a big storm right now.... I hear a loud crash of a tree... I can't see much but looks like a portion of my fence is gone... I don't think it hit the house? I mean it could be way worse but seriously come the fuck on!!!!!!!

One step forward and two leaps backwards.

The irony of it all is the fact I bought soil and some other things to fix the holes my dogs dug to get under the fence in a few places. I fixed their main escape today before it started to rain and get dark....
Now they are locked in the garage until morning. Well daylight... It is morning.

The same way they forget how to drive in the rain even though it rains far more often. It's crazy here if it rains in the morning. My commute to work is always a mess, no matter how little rain there is because everyone somehow manages to wreck when it rains.

What wheels? I was thinking about the Enkei TSP6 wheels myself. Although I'm disappointed they're gunmetal. I want black wheels.
