First Snow of the Season in Seattle (yesterday)

It snowed for the first time this winter! Thankfully it was only a couple inches and I was able to get to work ok. My commute is 98% main roads and highways so I wasn't too worried about my summer tires. But I did notice some slipping in the rear on turns. If it snows again this winter I am going to seriously reconsider driving the car unless I get some stickier tires....Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1387653531.501961.jpg

That would be a good thing to "seriously consider" ....

I live further up north so I wasn't brave enough to drive the BRZ in thicker snow. Plus with all the accidents yesterday, I wasn't going to risk getting hit.

Yeah, if it had snowed a couple more inches down here I definitely wouldn't have gone out. I walked around my block in the morning before I left to make sure none of the side roads were too slushy. Most of the rest of my commute is on highly used roads which doesn't allow the snow to build up. I'm glad it's all melted now

Start in 2nd gear and dont stop once you get going up hills. Good luck in the snow, but it is better to just bus it instead.
