Well now it looks FWD lol

Not used to aerial profiles I guess but the top pic the rear fenders look much more pronounced and overall design much more coupe like. Now it just looks like a meh hatch. If they said it was a redesign veloster I'd have believed it.

I don't understand all the hate KIA has been making some pretty badass cars lately. The optima is phenomenal and the cadenza is a great car! I'm excited!

If that picture is the same car, we've been had! Seems like they must have taken the shot not from directly overhead, but rather from above the front of the car with a widish-angle lens, giving the appearance of the top view of a car with much more "cab-rearward" proportions. Hope to be wrong, zero interest in the ungainly fwd car pictured...

The brief press blast, which is posted below, promises that this is a new concept vehicle, so it's unlikely that it has anything to do with the similarly shaped Provo Concept that Kia showed off earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show.
The Veloster look-a-like is the Provo concept.

I wonder if I could live with a GenCoupe's handling issues if it were styled like an Optima...

I thought about it, but decided 3300lbs was too much to be lugging around.

Wait... There's a different kind of internet argument?

Incidentally - they (H&K) need to work on their suspension design.
Apparently the Veloster's rear suspension is terrible, and the GenCoupe really doesn't feel very sharp...

Its the same shape, maybe you need to have your eyes checked.

Also that is what the author believes. I'm pretty sure that author that writes for Autoblog does not work for Kia and is just guessing like everyone else.

I THINK it looks like the Provo concept, that is why I posted what I did. I think it will just be a updated Provo concept with a facelift. Again, thats just what I believe.

I have the right to my own opinion just like everyone here.

Lol than I guess pass models like the Supra, MR-2, Celica GT-4, LFA does not count.

Not to mention upcoming models like the LF-LC and RC-F/GS-F.
