Is there a thread on possible adjustments through Techstream?

Not that I've seen. Here are a few things I had them change:
  • Double click instead of hold to open trunk from remote
  • Unlock all doors on first click
  • Seatbelt chime off

Others that I did not change:
  • Volume of lock/unlock beep
  • DRL on/off

Things I wanted changed but weren't possible:
  • Auto lock at certain mph
  • Auto unlock when key removed or handle pulled

There were a few other options too, I just can't remember them. Your dealer can go through all of them with you and you can make the changes you want.

If you have the smart key on you, why are you trying to use the physical key? There is a button under the lip.

That thread has instructions to change to the 'unlock both doors' mode.

If you lock the trunk, the only way to gain access to it is the physical key, as there is no lockable glove compartment.

I found that too... but then that opens both doors concurrently all the time...

My dealer would only allow a change at the time of purchase. I didn't know that and ended up buying the cable and getting the software from a link on here to do it myself. Otherwise it's $75 via the dealer

I HATE the side visibility. The blind spot is enormous, and frankly can be quite the safety hazard.
Surely they didn't make this car with the thought of YOU looking BEHIND to see your unlikely victim being smoked. More often than not, this car is the losing car LOL

I still love my BRZ. I just wish it had the FR-S front bumper.

I would also prefer the DRL's to be NRL's (nighttime running lights) along with the regular headlamps, so I can be extra pretentious. hehe

Other than that, maybe 2 ACTUAL rear seats. And it'll be perfect. But hey, you get what you pay for right? A whole lot of FUN!

If you adjust your mirrors it will go away The rear view mirror and the side mirror should overlap JUST A LITTLE BIT.

I'm too used to a 4 door sedan where the blindspot had a window LOL I'm getting used too haha

^ This.

You really only have a blind spot if you don't adjust the side mirrors correctly and/or don't use the side mirrors. The only other "blind spot" I noticed was that the passenger head rest was often in the way, I fixed that by removing it except for the occasional passenger.

Oh yeah, I've heard that before. I went in and talked directly to a tech and he made the adjustments for me.
