The picture itself? A good friend of mine took it while hanging out the side of someones Miata. He did some editing on it but I don't know exactly what all he did.

I was cruising the NASA TT forums and saw you posted you ran a 1:48.xx at MSR. It is crazy to think that you ran 1 sec faster than a TT car on street tires. I am new to this game, but I thought most TT guys run racing slicks.

Yeah man, I was really surprised myself! I was still on stock pads, would scrub speed the first few laps to get tires hot and would go for it a few laps until the brakes would make me feel uneasy in one of the larger braking zones. Can't wait to see what happens when I got back in 4 weeks. The car is setup for autocross and a bit twitchy at higher speeds.

That is crazy my man! You must be a real good driver. You will be able to drop that time even further with race pads. If you ran 225 r6s you might still make the point cap with the current mods and could be even faster. Do you know the amount of prep the current record holder had? If I remember it was a Miata or something.

Thanks man, I have been striving to get better and better for a while now. Seems to be paying off.

I am not sure what the prep level of the car was but I doubt it was very slow. I was a second behind the TTC record and the gap between classes for that track seems to be ~2 seconds.

Just ordered Project Mu 800+ pads, all Motul fluids for the engine, trans, and diff, and Centric rotor blanks today.

Winter has been slow, been working on the car a few nights a week to get squared away for the NASA TT season opener at MSR Houston on the 18-19th. Cause of the holidays shipping has been a little hectic but CounterSpace Garage and FT86Speedfactory have been great about keeping me up to date on everything as a lot of stuff is on back order. All of you guys must have gotten some awesome Christmas presents for your cars! :p

Changed out the Transmission oil last night and installed and bedded in my Project Mu HC+ 800 pads. I am waiting to do the diff till I buy a crush washer from the dealer. Car goes to the stealership this week to get tail light replacements to replace my fishbowl syndrome going on.

Stock tune? Wow. JDL should have a nice gain after tuning. You should right at 200rwhp then.

How loud is a delete + JDL UEL + high flow cat?
