According to the service manual, brake fluid is supposed to be replaced every 30K miles, but I think that's the Lawyers talking!

Wow after reading this thread I consider myself quite fortunate. I purchased several Toyotas over the years and always serviced them at the Dealership(Desert) in AZ and never had any problems with them adding things or charging absorbent prices. I even got a healthy discount when I purchased my Super charger & Catback Exhaust with install.
Desperate times; desperate people; and desperate measures. Shameful.

That's right! First one to reach 140K miles doesn't have to do any more maintenance!......everyone else has to start back at the beginning!

I have a short drive to work so I always hit it by date. I've had my car for over a year and almost at 5k miles.

If you were in MD, could've also gone to Annapolis, where both service and parts (and sales for that matter) own, work on, and modify their own Subaru's and support the communities...

I'm going their tomorrow for my chirp fix.

But yeah. 60k plugs is what makes the lack of room to DIY bearable. Never thought I'd miss changing plugs on GDB/GR's
