just saw the stock car video w/ dyno and WOW! I will definitely be getting this. It looks perfect for stealth/ DD. This might be nice to drive w/ a catted front pipe. should be your next project Thanks!

Wish we had more systems here to play around with. V1 and V2 are up next and I think a Perrin we have around here somewhere.
Will the test using the V1 be with the resonated or unresonated version? I'd like to hear what the resonated version sounds like. Please? haha

So, I'm thinking this, Nameless downpipe that replaces the over pipe, and PERRIN catback for my exhaust setup. I will be keeping an eye on this one.

I was thinking the exact same thing. This header nameless overpipe front pipe combo and Perrin resonated catback should have good sound but not too loud for a DD.

I'm not sure if you're including me in this but my question was about an exhaust that they already stated to be trying in the near future. I'm just wondering whether they'll be using the resonated or unresonated version. I don't expect them to install and film both versions (if that's not what they planned) just because I'd like them to. FT86 SpeedFactory has already been more than generous with the information on this header so I'll gratefully accept any additional info that they choose to give us.

I can't wait to start hearing the various set-ups once people start getting these headers in their hands. They seem to be exactly what I'm looking for sound wise since my car is daily driven.

So are you going to make an overpipe and a catted front pipe in the near future?

if this is referring to me I was just asking for an opinion from anyone not just FT86 SpeedFactory and was not implying or suggesting they actually swap it in

I'll be interested to see what the initial group buy price will be, I am of course assuming that there will be a group buy before or at the same time as it is available to purchase on their website. This is basically the exhaust manifold I have been waiting for, but didn't realize it until this thread magically popped up. I was planning on a catback for my next hp mod, but this may bump that down the list if the group buy price is right.

This tells me that the torque dip is mainly due to the design of the stock header, but why did Subaru/Toyota not do anything about it? Surely it couldn't have cost too much more to re-design the header and eliminate the dip during their R&D phase?
