aero design and engineering for road cars has a very small amount of interest because theres really not much you can do to decrease drag in an appropriate manner in 3rd party application. and this isn't the kind of place/forum where making a complete subform soly on aero will amount to anything.

Which is why i frequent forums dedicated to engineering and automotive aerodynamics.

but if you have ideas to share make a new thread in the chassis sub section and ill chime in as much as i can with the limited knowledge i know of vehicle aerodynamics from my classes.

I think that they should make their own discussion group and keep it in there, all the new threads and that over excitement is making it impossible to find technical thread where the information really matters. We don't have that problem over on the BRZ side.

Just wait until the BRZ hits the market and then that's when we start getting new obnoxious members, hopefully not (knocks on wood).

Heard of ecomodder? Admittedly some of the stuff people on there do is quite ugly and I would have some serious self-confidence issues if I were to drive a car with coroplast all over it. But I guess you're right, there's not much you can do. However the rear of this car could definitely use a bit of work...

I'm thinking of some A pillar attachments to reduce A pillar vortex formation, C pillar attachments to suppress trailing vortex formation (this would be pending some tuft testing though), and completely redoing the muffler/diffuser area. Front suspension arms will get covers, and the rear will basically be completely covered too. I'm thinking about PETG centrifugal fan wheel covers but those will be a bit hard to fabricate...

Oh and extended wheel spoilers, skirts, and fairings.

its pasta sauce with vodka added I guess it's an eastern European mix. you should try it's not bad. Can't speak for your taste buds.
