I'm getting CeL PO351, A Coil Primary/secondary.
Anyone else getting this problem.
Happens WOT around 7200 to rev limiter, will take into Toyota and see what's gone wrong.

Read through my threads I started. You'll get more info. Long story short I got p0351 a day before I had 2 DI's start to leak.

Coil pack is dead on cylinder 1. Time to replace it.

I'm told we have to lift the motor to get to the coil packs? If I'm going to do this, should I take an opportunity to change plugs, I'm at 35000km?

Would it be best to stick with plugs supplied be Toyota or would a better plug work for boosted?

you don't have to lift the engine to get the coil packs out. it helps a lot when doing the plugs, but really isn't even necessary then. the coil packs are the easy part of that job.

SO, after installing the 70mm pulley and the Gates Race Belt version of the oem belt (part number K061015RB), I lost the belt in 3 days. I believe the belt is too big with the 70mm so I'm going with belt half inch smaller. We'll see how this one holds.
BTW, Gates part number for smaller belt is K061010.

how's your tensioner? can you squeeze your belt and have the tensioner move, like mine does?

yeah, the tensioner moved easily with the longer belt like it was at end of it's range and the spring tension wasn't enough. With the shorter belt there is a lot more tension on the belt now. One more thing I noticed, the tensioner pulley moved a lot with the long belt when engine was running, and now it still moves but a lot less.

that's the same thing my friend john was thinking. if we go with a smaller belt, the pulley has less space to move, and so will be less likely to throw the belt. We're also thinking about some sort of face-plate for the SC pulley, to keep it on there.
