Best driving roads in South Florida?

Anyone know of any good driving roads in South Florida? I know Central Florida has some nice stuff, but I just want to find some roads with nice turns, not too congested.....

Get me driving people!

Good roads are hard to find. When I lived in S. FL, we'd cruise A1A, not really a driving road. For a spirited adventure, I liked northbound I-95 exit 102...sad when an off ramp is what you looked forward to on your drive home from work. It's a long right, left, right, and if you're on the inside of the second right, the bottom drops out, suspension compresses as you go thru the turn.

Not much help for ya. I enjoy the NC roads a lot more.

I'm going up to drive the dragon and surrounding roads with a bunch of friends for a Golf R32/R enthusiast event in April (used to own an R32).

Sadly no, nothing good down here. A few on ramps here and there but otherwise nothing but straights and 90 degree turns. Can't wait to go back up and rip shit up with this car.

I know exactly what you mean in regards to looking for "on and off ramps" I commute to FIU (where I work) daily, and the West bound exit of 8th street has a really nice long left, right, left, LONG right (with a slight up and down) and it's fun....but that's it, takes me all of 1.5 min to drive and then it's over

Where exactly will that be? I know, South Florida sucks! I used to live in Orlando and there were a lot of great roads there. Winter Park area has some great stuff with elevation and it's also scenic so it's a nice drive.

Clermont has a lot of great stuff especially out by the orange groves
Sugarloaf Mountain Road (amazing 500+ ft elevation at a crazy 16* incline) is also nice.

Down here there is nothing!

The dragon is a stretch of road, US 129 in North Carolina/Tennessee, 318 curves in 11 miles.

It's great but honestly, not even the best driving road up there.

Cherohala Skyway is pretty breathtaking.

Moonshiner 28 and Hellbender are pretty awesome too.

Since I got my BRZ, I've driven all of those...so much more fun than S. FL roads, er off/on ramps

I've never driven on a track before, I would be an extreme noob at that which is also why I kind of want to avoid it. Also, do the tracks costs money? Bc that's another issue for me. How's the track in Homestead?

My morning commute to FIU is bad enough. Traffic for no reason on 75, then traffic once I hit the t-pike, THEN traffic on 8th street, and if it's the right day, absurd traffic on actual campus. I get tons of great feelings....lol

The track at homestead is great! But yes, it does take a good amount of money for a track day. Autocross is much more reasonable cost-wise.
