Picked up some Blizzak WS-70's about a month ago and really had fun with the car last night. Took it out to a new development near my house where there is nobody living yet and had a ton of fun sliding the car around. Very impressed with the Blizzacks, they have great traction and the car is extremely predictable to drive.

I have a grand plan, I just don't know how much of it is doable or what my wallet can handle.

I threw on some WS70's as well. They're pretty awesome in the snow!

I have been like 80/20 on my new winter tires. There is a small window of very unpredictable handling but then it's very drivable is most of the conditions we have seen so far. I think the ice is were the Goodyear ultra grip wrt falls off the map. It has very good cold dry and wet grip and is mostly predictable in powder I found in and empty parking lot. It's like driving a 800hp car in the mud with traction control off. I can't describe the performance very well.
