How cold does it get in Texas anyway? Teens are about as cold as it gets here and it hasn't even gotten that low all winter.
Well Texas has bi-polar weather literally. It's 40 degrees one day and 74 the next. This winter hasn't been to cold at all the lowest it's probably gotten was maybe 32 but it's almost as if we skipped winter this year. The summer we went a record hundred some odd days without rain and we had 43 consecutive days of 100 degrees or higher so um long story short it doesn't get too cold here at all especially this years winter, I've lived here for all 24 years of my life and this is the warmest winter I can remember.

Thanks for this pic, I was trying to figure out where to put mine. No need for wires though unless you wanna charge it in the car. The headunit does blutooth audio streaming. Might put my phone in the front slot before the cup holders. Out of the way from the shifter when I don't need to charge it.

That heat sounds like another reason to skip leather...

And for those of us with iPods? I see no AUX input; is that USB my way in for the iPod? Is that a single CD changer or a multiple (6?) CD changer?

Aux symbol is right under the USB if you look a little closer.

No idea about the CD player

Correct, that is both a USB and AUX port, it is a pretty standard configuration now as well. Currently neither vehicle is being offered with a CD changer and I wouldn't expect it either. Industry consensus is that CD changers are obsolete and essentially dead weight not to mention a frequent point of failure.

I still remember early in the concept stages there was talk of axing even CD support. The idea was that few people in the target demographic use them and instead only having Phone/MP3 Player support would be better/lighter/whatever(er)...

Rich is a pretty big guy...when i went to the back...I had enough room to feel comfortable...and I'm 6'0 but of course not for a 3-5 hour drive lol I'll be pretty cranky

I love butt warmers and I'm in Florida

Push start is still a "eh whatever" feature to me, the digital HVAC I like the looks of, function wise it's not much different than any normal AC except the dual zone portion but I've never been a fan of.

Regardless I'm going limited for the seats.

One of the early things I plan to do is to remove the center console and see how easy it will be for me to relocate that USB port. I'll probably leave the original port there it just won't be connected. I'll run a new wire elsewhere so I can leave my ipod connected all the time and not have to deal with hiding it when I park the car.

The leather is only on the side bolsters so it's no big deal in this car IMO.

Aux is right under the USB port under the same cover it looks like based on the logos on the cover. I'd guess single CD.. you still use CDs?

Thank you for the real world demonstration. However, I fear a larger Android phone would not fit. Could be close. Why that push button start is so massive is beyond me.

+1

The push button start isn't all that important to me, more like a nifty novelty. I really like the way the auto HVAC looks over the manual HVAC, but I'm not in desperate need of the functionality. The only thing that is really holding me up is that I feel like I'd be disappointed without the leather/alacantara seats. I want prices dammit!
