I kind of dislike when CNCPTS does that. Then I usually end up buying more stupid stuff that I really didn't need in the beginning. haha

They did that with the three SB Lobsters... And the SB "Pigs Can Fly".

Yeah, that's cool and all, its just one of those love it and hate it ordeal. Money goes out the door or I wasn't expecting to spend more, but getting exclusive swag no one else can get is worth it.

I don't know if you all have seen these Kicks yet; they are called Inkkas Shoes. There are all kinds of hand stitrched patterns, along with High Tops and Slip on's if that's your flavor.
And no I'm not associated with the company but I do have the Low Tops pictured and they are real comfortable

^ Your attached photos are too small. But it seems like VANS did something like that minus the stitching: "Nibwaakaawin x Vans"

When I first bought the SB Red Lobsters at SUPREME LA, no one was in line. Same when the Blue Lobsters came out and they let me buy three!!! These days, you won't be able to even just get a glimpse of the shoe, not through pictures, if you weren't queuing up on release day. I kind of want to get the "Ugly Christmas Sweater" only to wear so I could win the prize at a Christmas Party we are having.

Well we got guys that come from NY and CT (even got people from Ohio to Maryland), so besides the people from Mass we get plenty of people creating huge lines outside that store sometimes. Another reason I've slowly stepped back from collecting sneakers. And Supreme is right up there for one of those sneaker stores to check out someday.

And my thought exactly on the ugly sweater party matched with those sneakers.

That dude off the street gets it.

I would get asked similar questions or that I'm crazy, but it hunting down sneakers is part of the fun too. Then get some stories out of it as well. Damn now that video makes me want to start back up again.... I must resist though.

80% of the most recent purchases I made this year were bought through eBay or online. I only waited in line twice this year for shoes. Since the SB Non-tourage came out, may even be the DUNK Space Jams, SUPREME LA stopped carrying NIKE SB DUNKS until the 10th Anniversary DUNK SUPREME came out. The line was out around the block. I guess, people just ditched paying their utility bill that month just to cop a pair.

I've always hit up ACTIVE SKATE stores, Brookly Projects(when they had the location on Melrose next to SSUR and their other one in Echo Park), UNDFTD in Silverlake or Santa Monica, SUPREME in Fairfax, and Primitive in Encino. Stoped going to those places these past two years and ventured outside the city and just went back to my roots. Just like my recent purchase of the DUNK x 112 DJ Clark Kent/Primitive at my local skate shop. I even went up an hour and a half drive to my parents North of L.A. and Wavelengths Surf Shop have received overstocks of SB Fireworkds, Beavis and Buthead, Black Rain, and High Civilists at retail prices!

Online stores, ebay, and twitter confirmation b.s. have changed the shoe game and that's part of why I walked away from buying sneakers. It was simple and easy before, but I became so discouraged with that and the price hikes from re-sellers or from some retail stores didn't help either.

Supreme and UDFTD are the two places I'd like to check out in person someday. Not too sure if Flight Club L.A. is worth it cause it may just be the same as the one in NY. And I like gong to skate shops before, but event that stuff had been blown out of proportion.

Hope fully this year all the hype dies down this year and I may start lurking at some boutique skate shops.

NO WAY! Goldie @5:50 is the dude from the Bond film, The World Is Not Enough.

Oh, and the guy before him was great. "Throw a jam, dance with a fat bitch, buy them sneakers and leave!" LMFAO!

Flight Club LA is the same as in NY, their display of shoes are okay to gaze at. The hike in prices they have set is the reason why there are resellers. There's a store in Little Tokyo called RIFT, a small consignment store that carry a pretty good amount of vintage NIKEs. Other storea to check out are BLENDS and PROPER! in Long Beach. There was a good BMX/Skate/Snow shop called NINE STAR, I used to buy SBs there when they hit the SALE rack at $19.99(bought the GINO IIs, KOSTON low, and 7/11 Big Gulps highs). But they've since closed in 2009.

I was surprised to see Goldie in that movie, I remember listening to his album when Techno/Drum and Bass/Industrial House music was big in the mid-90s.

^^ I'll vouch for RiftLA as I've purchased many new release Lebrons from them years ago.
