i also like the carpet cover for the top of the dash. would be nice if they offered different materials.

I learned on my last car not to buy cheap knockoffs. Sure it may be OK, but if you want the quality, fit, reliability, performance, etc. of the original it is better to pay

Different parts require different levels of original quality, so it is up to you to decide what is "good enough".

Oh, totally agree with you there! Some things are ok to buy knock offs - some things its best to buy the original - it all depends on your use, intention and everything else. If I had the money, I would buy all TRD parts because they are tested to fit, etc etc, but I don't. - So for things like like my replica rear diffuser (which looks great and cost me $600 less ) I am totally ok with getting ebay parts

These are ok because they are not performance parts. For example, I would never spend $1000 on coilovers. So thats why I got KW V3.

Actually most of the carbon fiber or interior part that people buy here in the United States, they are made in China.

Definitely. User discretion is a huge part in aftermarket purchases. For example, I plan to buy AP racing sprint when I go BBK over TRD. But I would NEVER buy something like the wilwood kit which is thinner than stock.

That is aperfect example. The weave is kind of crooked but overall it is "good enough". Since it is a cosmetic item most people will be happy with it. Pop in a custom insert to the empty space/heater switch area to cover up the most glaring defects and we have a good enough part.

yeah, especially when cusco is charging just as much for the CF overlays for the steering wheel and shifter trim.

I would be very interested if a vendor started carrying this stuff...especially in the fender vents, floor mats, and badges.
