Hahaha

In all seriousness I tend to agree with @tech4pdx as I've never seen any aftermarket fenders/trunks/hoods/lips fit like OEM. But that being said, I've had decent fitment before. My Seibon hood for my BMW wasn't perfect, but the difference in gaps between each side wasn't super obvious.

Perfect fitment? No. Acceptable fitment? Yes, but it depends on what you're expecting.

there are people that is okay with "acceptable fitment". 90% of parts are made in China, thus 90% will be crap. I had one hell of a time putting my TRD-CF version select side skirts. It usually end up costing about the same as OEM after the body shop fixes it and paints it.

I'd be surprised if this piece fits perfectly, or even an "acceptable fitment" status. Be ready to spend an additional ~$500 for fix/prep/paint. And find a body shop that accepts body kits, most of them hate working on these crap.

You should tell that to our carbon shop. They fill, sand, and repaint carbon parts all the time, either after wrecks, or design changes.

I'd love to see the face of the customer who just ordered thousands of $ in CF parts, who intended to run them naked, only to be told that his parts had to be filled, sanded and painted because they were garbage out of the box. Makes no sense..

My philosophy on naked CF.. If you wreck it, you replace it. It's expensive, but it is what it is.

Carbon can be "filled, sanded, and painted", which you said it could not.

Todoroki Front Fenders

Right....Getting back on topic. The fenders are being sold as a pre-order by a vendor here and you can check the link for pricing and availability.
Pre-order lasts until February 2014.

If I'm mistaken, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I could of sworn I read an article/blog that mentioned when the person visited Todoroki's shop they were told the fenders were produced by TRA-Kyoto but the overall design influence for these fenders came from Dream Projects themselves. So judging from that unconfirmed rumor there might be that indication of FRP quality and fitment for some people.

EDIT: Found the link. Credit goes to the Midnight Roulette blog. You can also get an idea of how the front and rear look/work together from different angles. Click the link for more pics.

I just see that price and think ... fuqdat. Real talk, I'm not being a cheap ass - my Vertex JZZ30 wide-fenders were $600 + shipping and fit perfect.

Yup, no idea why so expensive. Small production run maybe or just the vendors getting them are making a good profit?

Yep, they are pricey. I know TRA is the company that actually makes them. Might be due to the middle man.

Shipping alone is pretty expensive considering its coming in a large box from Japan.

These are about 2-3 days away from hitting my doorstep. Can't wait!

Anyone know if there is a DIY on removing the OEM fender?

Youre not taking to a body shop to have them painted?
