HI,

I am interested in. Please keep update.
Do you plan to do the group buy?
By the way, why choose the size for 68 mm?
I did see the 70 mm product and still claim that can match stock ECU.

Thanks.

If we have enough interested people we may do one. We may have to source a few cores first. And I believe 68 was as far as my machines felt comfortable going up to on the stock housing. But I will confirm with him.

HI,

$250 is for a new one or it is modify from the stock which need

to send our stock to you?

TODA has taper design and mention "
the throttle shaft has not been modified to be thinner ; this is to increase the life of the single throttle body by retaining a more rigid shaft"

http://www.todaracingusa.com/catalog...idCategory=198

Thanks.

ps. I am interested, but I did not have enough knowledge for this.
I hope that you consider the optimize design there.

We typically have two options. You can send your throttle body into us for no extra charge. This is if you have another car to use. Or, you pay a core charge up front and we will supply the throttle body. Once you receive ours, you will need to send your factory one back to us. We will then refund you the core charge. Ours will also have a tapered design. And to be honest, anything over 70mm will be overkill for this car, and I don't see any reason for one that large. Like I said, our shop Evo made 1053whp with a 70mm. I will keep you more informed of how we will handle the cores as this develops.

Sorry, we aren't going to go up to 70mm. The wall clearance is just too thin at that size and could run the risk of cracking.

Sounds like we are using the stock angle for the throttle plate which I believe is 2 or 3 degrees. But don't quote me on that, I have to ask my machinist. We are going to use a stainless plate but it will remain the stock thickness so we can re-use the OEM rod.

Bolted on our throttle body to my car to check everything, and it looks like the stock intake manifold is exactly 68mm. So anything bigger would not really benefit us right now. Not unless we look into intake manifold designs. Which we are still playing around with...Once we get the throttle plates finished, we can bolt it on our stock auto FRS and see if there are any gains. Any tuners out there N/A and F/I want to take one from us and do some testing with a tune? PM me if you are interested.

what about bolting it up to an innovate charger? The back elbow on it can be removed and ported, not sure by how much as theres a gasket there but theres some material that looks like it can be removed.

Yes, that is a great question. We may have a tuner that is willing to test one out on a few turbo cars and an Innovate equipped car as well. But we may be able to hand port those elbows as well. It would be nice to take a look at one...

I have an innovate charger...so if you need anything, just let me know If you want I can talk to the few tuners i've worked with and see if they would be interested in testing it out and could use my car as the mule if needed. I don't want to clutter your thread though so if interested just send me a pm.

I remember that the stock throttle body is 65 mm.
Will that gain something from increase the diameter to 68mm which can directly match the stock intake manifold or do you mean there is almost no benefit there ?
Will you still plan to show the dyno result?
Thanks again
