So they got me in a 2014 Corolla S while my car is at the dealer. Really impressed with this. Feels so much nicer than the Corollas of old.

While the guy took my car back to work on it, I just sat there and listened. Good God does that exhaust note sound sexy. I want the new FT-86 SpeedFactory catted UEL headers, but now I'm not sure I want to mess up that amazing tone I already have.

Good stuff man, glad stuff is getting fixed! I finally got my STi lip kit installed. I love my exhaust as well and the local dudes here said keep the EL headers because of the subtle and clean tone it has. Looking forward to more updates, how is Florida treating you?

It's pretty damn good here. You see that map of the US of how cold it is but Florida is chillin down there all hot and warm? Yeaaaaahhhh that's me right now haha.

Just got a call from the dealer...

Transmission is getting replaced, shift boot is getting replaced, shift knob is getting replaced, floor mats are getting replaced, and once the transmission is done they will work on the axle and all the little rattles. THANK THE FREAKING LORD IT IS ALL GETTING DONE FINALLY!!!!

The good news just keeps coming today. The service manager looked up all the possible TSBs for my car without me even asking and they are doing them. I don't even have to pay for my rental, and while my car is getting serviced, they will be putting on Florida legal tint with a lifetime warranty.

Glad to hear you are being taken care of! From other people's experiences, it just goes to prove it really boils down to having a good relationship with your dealer (and making sure you are using a good dealer). Do you have an ETA for completion of everything?

You're very right. I was told Friday. I was shocked it's not gonna be longer.

New update from dealer:

Got a call just a bit ago that the transmission is in, road tested, and performing great. They are now addressing all the rattles in the car. They actually found some glass in the door that never got cleaned up after someone broke into the car (see page 1).

I'm a little bummed because the axle boot and fuel pump are on back order, so I won't be getting my new axle or fuel pump until I get back from Nebraska, which is early January. That's ok, I won't be driving at all for 2 weeks. Just happy it's all getting taken care of.

They will put the tint on tomorrow and then I'm picking it up!

Got another call from the dealer today that they were able to get a fuel pump located and the car will be ready to be picked up tomorrow. So I don't need to wait!
