Been lurking on the site a little bit over the past few months.

Wife and I bought a '14 FRS Auto in Asphalt on Friday night. We went to the dealer wanting a proper stick shift manual, but fell in love with the auto in manual using the paddles!
We both ride sport bikes (her GSXR750, me CBR1000RR), and the sequential shifting of blipping up and down gears instead of choosing a specific gear is exactly the same as the bikes.

Tons of plans for her as soon as we finish break-in which should be by the end of this week or maybe next.

I'll start a journal with a proper introduction and post a link to it later.

Thanks humfrz! It'll definitely be easier to pack an overnight bag now! I just have to figure out how to win at coin-flipping for who gets to drive...

If you knew my wife, you'd know that's a terrible idea! LoL. She's an even bigger fan of driving sideways than I am, since she comes from a long history of Corvettes and Firebirds...

But she learns fast and we've planned our break-in together.

I'm in the military and away often, hence the March delivery date when I'm home next. But travelling the world gives me the opportunity to grab lots of bits

It's my way of subduing my impatience waiting for the little car

PS - I'll be going through Washington, Philly, Canada, Alaska and Hawaii early next year if anyone can recommend any performance shops I can visit on my way through for some more go fast bits

It might be a good investment here in CO.

It's pretty easy to do it you have the spray gun and plasti dip is really forgiving. That being said, it's hard to get it to look REALLY good but none the less its a real head turner.
